ABOUT SCHOOL

S.S.K. Public school, Muzaffarnagar (U.P.) was started in 1992 at Gandhi Colony, Muzaffarnagar to meet the demand for new school to be run on Public School lines and import education with all the modern techniques to the students of the city and the rural areas of the district Muzaffarnagar, then the school got reorganization from the department of Basic Education of Uttar Pradesh.

After passing few years, the school management decided to upgrade and get the school affiliated with CBSE, Delhi and took the land at Roorkee road Muzaffarnagar and constructed the building as per the norms of CBSE, Delhi. The school got the affiliation for secondary level on Sept. 2006 and classes up to VIII which were running at its old building situated at Gandhi Colony Muzaffarnagar shifted to its newly constructed building at Roorkee Road Muzaffarnagar go the school got the affiliation to this building just after getting the affiliation from C.B.S.E. we surrendered the recognition of basic education of U.P.

It is a co-ed English medium school now being run up to classes XII as the C.B.S.E., Delhi has upgraded the school for Senior Secondary in classes in May 2016.

Our Motto
Our motto is ^^relks ek T;ksfrxZe;** means from the darkness of ignorance to the light of education, for our mission is to enable our pupils to grow and bloom in accordance with their innate potential and evolve into complete human being who are empowered physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

FEE CONCESSION

No Fee concession is allowed in any case, however half fee concession is permissible to a student having three brothers / sisters studying in this school. If more than three are studying, full fee concession may be granted to one studying in the lowest class.

House System

The house system forms the basis of all competitions in the school, it promotes team spirit, group loyality and healthy competition. The whole school is oraganised in four houses viz Azad House, Tilak house, Patel House and Tagore House to inculcate healthy competitive spirit. Each house is put on duty for a week in turn.

Parents – Teacher Meeting

We consider parent’s involvement as in integral part of child development activities as school. The influence at home augments the efforts made at school. Collaborative efforts of both parents and school help the child for rightful behavior patterns, healthy habits and positive attitudes in personal and social life. Both must act as partners in the development of the child so we advise parent-teacher interaction at the Parent-Teacher Meeting held on every Second Saturday of the month between 09:00am to 12:00 Noon.

Note: Academics will remain off on the same day i.e. every Second Saturday.

Rules for Transfer Certificate

If a student applies for T.C. He/She will have to pay the Fee/Dues as follows:
1- After the annual Exams: If a student has not attended the school even a day in the new session he/she will have to pay Only T.C. fee.
2- If a student has attended the school even for a day in April : T.C. Fee + T. Fee + Annual Fee a month.
3- In April & May: T.F. for April to June + One fourth of the Annual Fee + T.C. Fee.
4- In July : If a student has attended the school even a day in July Fee of Ist quarter If not paid earlier + Fee & annual charges for July + T.C. Fee.
5- In later month: Full fee of the quarter + Full Annual Fee.

Expectations

1- Take good care of your health and be robust and strong.
2- Always be friendly in school and out of the school.
3- Accept whatever work is assigned to you and complete it on time.
4- At home, you should always be ready to tend a helping hand to your parents, brothers and sisters in school to teachers and companions.
5- Respect the freedom and rights of others.
6- Respect the beauty of the class-room and of the school premises and report any damage you observe.
7- Be truthful, whatever be the cost.
8- Do not waste your time in idle gossip.
9- Do not bring valuables to school.
10- Look upon people from all parts of the world as your brethren irrespective of their caste, creed, colour or religion.

Rules Pertaining to discipline

1- Every students is expected to arrive in the school on time. He/She will not be permitted in, after three late arrivals, and a written explanation will be sought.
2- He/She must not use abusive language and disrespectful expression for others.
3- He/She must not damage school property in any form.
4- A strict disciplinary action will be taken against the defaulters.
5- The students against whom disciplinary action may have been taken or whose presence in the school may prove detrimental to the general discipline of the school will not be taken back in the new session irrespective of their academic excellence.

Admissions Registration

1- Registration for admission is made from the month of February onwards. The date for interview/test as the case may be given, as the student is being registered.
2- Registration is no guarantee for admission.
3- Admission is taken through – test/interview and on transfer from any recognized school.
4- Transfer certificate (Original) and photocopy of the progress report are required to be submitted along with the admission form.

Attendance

All the students must attend the school on the first three days of opening the new session i.e. in April and just after the summer break i.e. in July. If a student remains absent continuously on these three days and 10 days during the course of session his/her name will be struck of the rolls and will be re-admitted on subject to availability of seat on payment of Rs.500/- as re-admission fee. The Principal reserves the right of allocate such seat to any other student.

Leave Rules

  • If a student remains of leave, the application signed by the father/mother must be submitted to school, in case of prolonged illness the application must be supported by the medical certificate.

Recommendations to Parents/Guardians

1- Parents are requested not to enter class rooms either to see their children or to seek interviews with the teachers during school hours.
2- They are requested to co-operate with the school in its attempt to help their wares progress by paying attention to their regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking interest in their ward’s work. They should check the dairy everyday and note the homework and any other instructions given. They are advised to check the bags of their wards to see if any notice, invitation, etc has been issued.
3- They are expected to inform the school if there is any change in their address contact no’s.
4- Leave for half a day should be avoided as far as possible for security reasons. In an emergency, written permission must be taken from the Principle.
5- Children, when sick must not be sent to school to attend class.
6- Parent’s attention is drawn to the fact that criticism of a teacher or the school in the presence of the child causes the children lose his/her respect for the teacher and will hinder his/her progress. Any communication made by the parents should be addressed to the Principal and not to the class teacher. Parents are requested to co-operate in the working of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline, ensuring that the school roles are observed.
